Please find below some frequently asked questions and answers.

  • What time is De Zeeuw opened?
  • Our restaurant is open for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday from 18.30. Our last entry is 20.00. For lunch we're opened on Friday and Saturday from 13.00 - 16.00.
  • Does De Zeeuw offer a vegetarian menu?
  • Yes, you can! You can indicate your wishes and/or restrictions when you make your reservation. We would like to know whether you eat vegetarian (only vegetables) or pescetarian (no meat, but vegetables and fish). When making your reservation, please advise how many courses you wish to enjoy so we are able to design the best menu that suits your needs.
  • How many courses are offered
  • We serve a menu from 3 to 7 courses on Wednesdays and Thursdays. On Fridays and Saturdays we serve our menu from 6 or 7 course menus. Do you prefer to eat à la carte? Dishes from our menu can be ordered separately with a minimum of 2 dishes per person. In addition, the chef always has some tasty specials in store outside the menu.
  • Is De Zeeuw open for lunch?
  • Every Friday and Saturday we serve lunch from 13.00.You can choose from a la carte or a 3 / 4 course tasting menu. Because of our evening service we kindly ask you to finish your lunch around 16.00.
  • What is the cost of table water?
  • We offer unlimited sparkling or still water throughout your dining or lunch experience with us for €5,50 per person.
  • I have a diet requirement or allergy
  • Our menu consists largely of fish, vegetables, seafood and poultry. In regards to an allergy or preference that do not allow for these ingredients, we will offer vegetarian alternatives. Our dishes consist of a large number of components and ingredients, each of which contributes to the ultimate experience. We can cater for allergies and dietary requirements, provided they are mentioned at the time of booking including the number of courses that you wish to eat.

    Please note, however, that we cannot accommodate dietary requirements and allergies that we feel do not fit the character of our dishes, our cooking style or the composition of the menu.
     
    Due to the composition of the menu and the extensive use of the ingredients below, we cannot accommodate the following dietary requirements in the menu:   
    - Vegan
    - Citrus fruits
    - Vinegar
    - Garlic, onion, celery, leek
    - Lactose
    - Proteins

    Do you have a (diet) eating wish and/or allergy? We ask you to contact us in good time and we will see if and how we can best serve you. In regards to same day or last minute reservations, please be advised that we will not be able to accommodate these wishes. Please allow 48 hours notice.
  • What time does the restaurant close?
  • To welcome our guests fresh and energetic the next day, we close at midnight.
  • Do you sell gift cards?
  • Unfortunately, we do not sell gift cards at this time.
  • Is De Zeeuw suitable for children?
  • De Zeeuw is not suitable for babies and small children. Would you like to come and eat with your child and would you like to arrange something special in terms of the menu? Please contact us in advance for more information and possibilities on info@restaurantdezeeuw.nl. Please allow 48 hours notice
  • Can you do something special for a birthday?
  • De Zeeuw has designed a special birthday cake that is spectacularly presented, especially for the birthday celebrant!

    The cost of the Birthday cake is €10 and you can order it up to 24 hours prior to your reservation via info@restaurantdezeeuw.nl or you can indicate this when making your online reservation.
  • Is the restaurant wheelchair accessible?
  • De Zeeuw is wheelchair accessible. We will do our best to help you enter as discreetly as possible. To be sure, please contact us in advance so that we can receive you in the best possible way.
  • I have not received my confirmation email, what should I do?
  • If you have not received a confirmation within 10 minutes of making your reservation, please check your SPAM folder. It is also possible that you have mistakenly made a mistake when entering your email address.

    It is possible that your provider will place our (automated) e-mails in your spam folder by means of filters.

    If you can not find the confirmation email in your SPAM folder, please contact us via info@restaurantdezeeuw.nl.
  • Can I bring my own wine?
  • This is allowed on the condition that this is mentioned when making the booking.

    It is not possible to bring your own wines that De Zeeuw has on the wine list.

    The corkage fee is €55 per 750 ml bottle, for a maximum of two bottles. This includes service and glassware. In the case you would like to bring larger and/or more bottles, please contact us first via  janine@restaurantdezeeuw.nl.
  • Is there a requirement for a pre payment?
  • For reservations we ask for a deposit of €25.00 per person at time of booking. Deposits will be deducted from your account. In the unlikely event that you are unable to attend, you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours prior to your reservation.
  • Accessibility
  • We ask you not to park your bicycle against our façade but to park it in the designated bicycle racks further down the street. This is to keep the walk-through on the sidewalk accessible to everyone.
  • Can I bring my dog?
  • No, dogs are not allowed, how tiny and cute they might be.
  • Where can I park my car?
  • The Raaks parking garage on the Zijlvest is just around the corner and the easiest and cheapest option.
